A lot of latitude to blend in STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) content and concepts, even when the theme is not specifically STEM-related.
Summer Reading Club for kids is behind us for 2020, having been forced into virtuality by COVID-19, like a lot of other cherished activities. And this is a cherished activity, with a “backstory” that should impress especially you parents who enrolled your children over recent years. In COVID-19-free times, almost 1000 children attended on site annually at Murrysville Community Library (MCL) alone. There are only about 28,000 people in all of MCL’s service area, which includes Murrysville, Export and Washington Township, so this is a notable enrollment. All of the 19 state-aided libraries, among the 22 member public libraries (25 sites with branches) in the Westmoreland Library Network™ (WLN), conduct annual Summer Reading Clubs normally.
